534 space hours – Jeff Williams breaks spaceflight record


On September 6, 2016, US astronaut Jeff Williams, broke the record of longest cumulative space-time after spending 534 hours in space.

His final space mission was a 172-day mission on the International Space Station (ISS) alongside Russian cosmonauts Oleg Skripochka and Alexey Ovchinin.

The record was previously held by fellow astronaut Scott Kelly (522 space hours)
